LG loop info: 2 possible problems - (1) expose this part of the line to a hydraulic leak - not that big a deal because RSVR QTY is measured, and that lower limit on c/w could be set to detect a leak quickly.

(2) with the ISOL VLV open, only 1 failure away from putting the gear down: a CNTL VLV, which is not instrumented, could fail open and release the uplock to the gear if Hyd fluid is present. Redundancy will be added for ~ ST3-5 - can we postpone FTD until then?

HYD FLUID CONDITIONING (DTO 244) - This is also a thermal test.

On cold - case flights (ST3-3) it may be required to cycle the surfaces to warm up the hydraulic fluid...test is to verify that heating will be accomplished, and that heating rate is understood. [For cold cases, need to get system fluid to ~75 degrees F for purpose operation]. Scheduled to last for 5 minutes, just prior to E1. 5 minutes is not a requirement, but >2 mins is required in order to get complete flow.

Test cycles RUDDER/SB, BF and elevons, and is initiated by item entry and stopped by item entry.
