Teleprinter demo (l-g tms with arbet[[?]], Land). Teleprinter stored & kept in top aft locker. Needs DC power (from one of the utility outlets) and needs to be connected to A/G 2 to receive messages (nominally connected at MS station)

msg received (yellow)
DC pwr on (cables connected (green)
green: cables hooked up (& DC pwr switch - on)
yellow: "message received" on when message begins; not off until after msg stops & "PAPER FEED" is pushed on-board[]

[][[Drawing/Diagram of Teleprinter]]
paper feed
ON/AUTO
ON: puts it in high power mode (high usage)- req for msg rcv
AUTO: Enables gnd to put TP in high power mode

green: in high pwr mode (from beginning of msg rcv, to ~90 sec after msg end)[]

Configure all comm stations: MS - A/G 2 T/R PTT/PTT (teleprinter uses PTT signal to initiate message). All others configured to RCV A/G 2 - not T/R .... would send a message. RCV on others just in case of A/G 1 failure. NOTE: T/R on MS station only so the gnd gets feedback that msg was received & teleprinter worked (it would work on RCV).

When gnd sends message, signal sends TLPR to high power (uses more KW, runs hotter), starts an initialization sequence (done automatically in teleprinter).
Note: paper is on "take-up reel" normally — but it would work even if paper weren't on reel.
CHANGES (1) trash container (2) new take-up reel (3) looking to change initialization msg problem (4) send up line feed @ end
