• I/O INIT (ITEM 1) just establishes comm from SCA → GPC commands can be sent before I/O is initiated, but there will be no feedback, & no data.
• SPIN checks: 
SCA checks for the spin rate to be "NORMAL" (50 RPM) ±~10% 
if it is out of range (overspeed or underspeed), response depends on sequence
• SCA-HALT if in MECH SEQ
• no response if in TERMINAL SEQ until last 5 sec
• in last 5 sec: {SCA-HALT if no lim oride, no response if lim oride}

Note: "deploy rate go" means spin ±10%

- Palapa has no feedback on trickle charge (on or off)

- BUS CUR (spec 206) is the total current to PAN & S/C except that drawn by spin motors 

- "VEH ARM" shutdown will occur for either:
(1) 2 ARM buses ↓
or (2) an ARM bus and a RELAY bus ↓

- after STOW sequence, the spin rate "bug" is set to slow rate
- ✓ BATT T & SRMT: if OK just before mech seq, continue (no more checks req'd. If not ok, continue... but don't deploy w/out MCC confirmation
