Management Brief (post-FLT)
1. Ascent
•1st stage: SMS good (vid & tail-off)
• SRB SEP - bright
•2nd stage: smooth, tail-off more pronounced, don't remember 3-g's

2. ADAPT TO ZERO-G
• MET 1-3 hrs (~1st couple hrs orbit)
clumsy, insufficient --> mild frustration (frustration level depends on how much pressure you feel)
[open lockers / 5 min to put kneeboard in locker; FDF locker; keys on keyboard]
• elvoves[[?]] to inefficient, but can navigate => still thinking about body position / aware of floating (divided attention, easily distracted from what you're doing)
• by middle of day (~6 hrs MET) becoming comfortable
=> DPY on 7D no problem...would have been comfortable doing it as early as rev 5, but no earlier
=> CFEs ops uncomfortable on 1st day

3. CFEs ops
• nothing put praise for MDAC = (1) HW is easy to use, designed for mid-deck ops in zero-g (handbolds, 1-handled operations) (2) tng excellent - felt comfortable w/ HW, procedures, SW.
• 6 samples - 2 NASA, all collected successfully / documented flaws
• 10.2 didn't bother CFEs
• example of an activity not to schedule early in Day 1 (requires assembling, maneuvering)
