- There was one occasion where the film ran when the ARRIFLEX (16mm motion picture camera) was left in standby. This causes trouble.
- There are limited outlets in Orbiter. The crew suggests we specify which power
outlets to utilize;[[Note]]New AC outlet [/Note]] there should be power outlet guides or layouts available. [[Note]] There are! (ref date book)[/Note]]
- The lens cleaning kit worked very well. Two units could have been used. 
- 35mm flash batteries were used rapidly. There should be more spare batteries. [[Note]] 2 more being manifested [/Note]] The crew conserved, but the power in the batteries depleted. The crew actually used Sony Walkman batteries.
- The crew favors the 28mm lens (for 35mm photography), and recommend we consider flying two.
- It was pointed out, in response to crew comments on self-timing, that a new configuration self-timer is being produced. [[Note]] prototype in work. [/Note]]
- On 70mm photography, there was difficulty with the infinity stop.
- The spotmeter was used.
- The crew changed velcro pattern on the window shades. Bungeees, velcro, loops, and wires were used. Quick access is needed for out the window shots. 

CLOTHING
- Generally, fits were tighter in orbit that prior to the mission. Astronaut Seddon stated her clothing fit as well in orbit as on the ground. [[Note]] new flt suit OK [/Note]]
- Crewmembers cut elastic on tight trousers and this worked very well; they did not think any redesign was necessary.
- When flight suits are taken off, there needs to be a place to put them. Flight suits take up a lot of room.
- The Remmington Shaver "ran down" after 4 days of usage. [[Note]] Ragan: look at total batteries [/Note]]
