SMM (FUR 226). Tests in MDF are currently not scheduled to use flight cameras. Runs may be cut short because of MDF down-time.
(1) keel camera is installed & will be used
(2) [[image]]
-ready-to-latch lines
-(trunnion entirely beneath this=ready-to-latch)[[/image]]
(3) what are potential "snags" between SMM insulation [[underline]]surface[[/underline]] + inside surface of latch "guides" & longerons?
(4) "steps" on inside of latch longeron is a bad design:
[[image]]"SIDE VIEW"]
-could trunnion wedge in here?
-steps [[/image]]
(5) SMM model is "wider" than flight article. We're using latch - PL clearance of 1/2" - real-world will be 1.8" (considerably easier, assuming "effective trunnion length" - its actual extent - is the same)
(6) 3-point berthing system (120° out) requires different interpretation of cues (particularily P,Y,R) Is this a problem?
