when PL crosses sphere, it begins to position-hold... it doesn't hold about intended point [[symbol with three dots]] accuracy achieved depends directly on R. CEI spec states RMS auto mode will achieve total ±2", ±1°
(which requires .5"=R).

Karl: NRSS would like to maintain ±2"... but would be willing to relax this if its' the best way to go [changing 2, or washout sphere, may result in overshoot].

NOTE: potential problems with auto-stop / proceed if the trajectory is "critical" (barely makes it across sphere)... operator override or interaction may make the difference, altering trajectory or velocity such that point isn't (or is) made.

QA problems
(1) patch was put in Simfac SW (& not reported) to correct 90°  yaw[[?]] display singularity... this "patch" was "unsigned", but in SIMFAC "father file" (the baseline SW). Slipped through config. control.
(2) patch to change ACF position-hold sphere was 1" in father file (shows lack of configuration control)
