Stoughton this weekend to find skirts, waste-paper basket, pictures, green bag, so by the beginning of the week I [[strikethrough]] ma [[/strikethrough]] shall need money to keep on hand. Anna refused the $10, but I spent about half of it on shows, subway, a small purse with her that week or before. Also stockings. From now on except for sq dances & the ball game I shall try not to buy food: apples, icecream: or anything else.

We had a sweeping theft last night - over $160 taken from the dorm. I had only $3 to start with, & tho' people around we were touched, I wasn't. I put my valuable jewelry in the house mother's strong box (Mrs McMillan) and plan to hide money from now on, as all "jobs" have to be fast ones.

Well, breakfast is ready.

Love,
Doris
