April 14

Dear folks,

Warm, with full forsythia. I am groaning & grunting with tiredness today, having yesterday sold my soul for $25: the blood bank called unexpectedly soon. They provided me with iron pills, and my tonic gives me 2 1/2 times the daily [[strikethrough]] iron [[/strikethrough]] requirement, so I don't imagine it will last long. It's at a safe time of the month. The nurses there give every 2 months, but advised three month interims for greater safety if menstruation were heavy. Also, later work would be worse. Also put in my order for glasses at last; Wanning keeps writing things on the board & movies are impossible. The frames (from Harvard COOP) are stylish but not [[strikethrough]] as [[/strikethrough]] sharp & harsh or colored: really look quite good, I may want to wear them all the time. Will be $14.

Writing now a paper for tutorial on Jonson, whom Garis has made quite likeable, due tomorrow. Another paper due Wednesday on a metaphysical poet, fun. Ec studies government expenditures & taxation now, much interest in the facts of the case tho quite simple. Our long paper for the term in metaphysical Po can be on Jonson, you bet it will!

I did get the refund, thanks. Have no shortages, since you are being billed for week stay (only $17) & glasses. Enclosed is week stay bill.

Love,
Doris
