The number of accessions during 1891-92 was 85, against 79 in 1890-91. Several of them comprise [[strikethrough]]d[[/strikethrough]] large series of valuable and interesting forms, many of which [[strikethrough]]were [[/strikethrough]] are new to the collection. Among these the most interesting may be noted as follows:

[[Paragraph symbol]] From Mr. C. F. Ancey were received a number of rare and peculiar species from Africa including several of the forms found only in the S. African Lake Tanganyika.

[[paragraph symbol]] Mr. W. G. Binney presented the blocks of figures used in his publications of the past two years, thus making them available for use in future publications of the Museum.
