We took dogs & went to White Plains Le Jockey Club for lunch with Mary - her 75th Birthday - to Tarrytown to leave Vidalia onions at Eileens & on to Phelps Hospital for visit with her - home at 5 - Heavy rain enroutr White Plains 1989 - Wednesday - 56 degrees at 6:30 - Raining still - 3 1/3 inches cumulative - cleared mid-morning - was able to cut grass - prepared for trip tomorrow - plants in ground - packed etc. Eileen came at five after leaving dogs in Lake Street Kennel: Phoned Holmdens - Hooker has stiches taken out tomorrow - tooth & foot sore - said he has "Hoof and Mouth Disease". 1990 - Thursday - 56 degrees at 6 am.
