Catalogued, 201, card catalogue of same 201; drawings registered, 44, envelopes filled out for drawings, 44; total 490, which is equivalent to the same number of registrations, add to this the total number of catalogue registrations for the year, we have a total of about 3053 entries as against a similar total of 5738 entries for 1892-93.  The reduced number of entries arises from the fact that the new material entered during the year has usually been such as to require study before it could be catalogued, making the progress of the work much slower than when the material had been already labelled, as in past years has generally been the case.
