Greegor, of Jacksonville, Florida, at various times during the year, has presented shells which came into his hands in the course of business & which appeared to have special interest.  These contributions from Mr. Greeger are always of value & are gratefully appreciated.

An important purchase was made by the Museum near the end of the last fiscal year, but the specimens were not all received until some time later.  This consisted of a collection & types of West Indian fossils described by Mr. R. J. L. Guppy of Trinidad in various publications, during the last fifteen years.
