Several very fine specimens of species belonging to the local fauna of San Pedro Bay, California, have been presented to the Museum by Mr. T. S. Oldroyd of Los Angeles, California. 

Miss Ida M. Shepard of Long Beach Cal. has continued her contributions to the Museum & has shown exceptional ability in collecting the smaller forms of that part of the coast of California. The contributions which Miss Shepard & her friends have added to our knowledge of the distribution of the California coast fauna, have been important & interesting & no doubt, will continue to be so.
