The number of entries in the register for 1893-94, is 2563 representing about 7700 specimens. The total number of registrations (exclusive of duplications and omissions) is now 110,154, representing some 330,500 specimens catalogued. The number of workers & their distribution throughout the building renders it necessary to use simultaneously several volumes of the register, which explains why the following table is required to show the exact registration total for the year.
