A description of a new Chiton (Lepidopleurus percrassus, Dall). In this species the girdle is extended in such a manner as to partly separate the shelly portions of the valves. For this peculiar form [[strikethrough]] Dr. Dall [[/strikethrough]] is proposed a Section Oldroydia.
