subrupicola var. spelaēa Dall from Cave City, Calaveras Co. Cal. are described. Both types are in the National Museum.

William Healey Dall. Three new species of Macoma from the Gulf of Mexico. [[strikethrough]] by (The [[/strikethrough]] (Nautilus, [[strikethrough]] vol. [[/strikethrough]] July, 1895, [[strikethrough]] vol.[[/strikethrough]] IX, No. 3, pp. 32-34). Macoma limula, ranging from North Carolina to Barbados; M. mitchelli from Matagorda Bay, Texas, and M. leptonoidea from the same locality, are described. The types are in the Museum Collection.
