4th of August 1950.

My dear Doris,

Your grandmother has sent at least twelve letters to your Mother. I have taken them to the P.O. and put them in the special air-mail-box, so you should have received them.

The trouble is you flit from one place to the other, therefore they arrive at one place while you are somewhere else.

Mrs. Holmes has been faithful in her writing and is discouraged you don't get them.

She is very well and is looking forward to your return as I am, she misses you very much.

So glad you are having such a nice time visiting the many interesting places.

Dolores is coming here for a short visit around Aug. 25th we shall enjoy seeing her.
Love from
Mrs. Barry.
