Tsk! Tsk! No males? How terrible!

But don't worry, you're better off if you stay away from them in the long run (though you probably won't believe me and I myself am beginning to wonder whether I don't need my head examined...)

There weren't any, strictly speaking, where we were. But the lady had four grandchildren, three of whom were boys (6, 12, 13). The girl was 10. What brats! They seemed to be constantly trying to outscream each other (except for 12-year-old Randolph who was blond, cute, and adorable and had a gorgeous little quiver in his voice.) The two older boys immediately fell for Bea and she assumed a nursemaid role and tucked them in bed at night sealing their prattling mouths with a juicy kiss.

I felt somewhat consoled when the 6 year old and the girl demanded kisses and "tucks-in" from me -- oh well! enough of this ----.

Lorraine is in Isisa [[ISISA]] - I heard from her just the other day - she's having a wonderful time. (An aviation cadet sent her his insignia) (who wouldn't enjoy that?) She expects to get back a few days before school starts (the 20th). Her address is downstairs and I am upstairs so I will write it down at the end of this letter.

Hmmm.... I don't quite get your meaning when you say a postcard would be safer than a letter...

I gave your love to Jim and Bea, as you requested, and they both seemed happy about it, so you may send more anytime you want (How about me? ... ?)

I want to go ahead and fill the fourth page of this but I really must stop as it's late
