Dear Doris, I was just dy-ing to get one of your lett-ers once again. I am glad you liked (my) stockings. I got quite a few presents but we did not know how many would be waiting for us in Rhode Island. But we didn't get down because (dd) dad had a "C" card and was afraid he would get caught out of state. (how would you (?))
