waste time because I can't anymore with so much work.

Gosh! Doris it seems that before college I had just a little more time than I have now.  In just the same way that $10 was a lot of money before the war, 10 hours was a lot of time before college.  Now 1 hour goes by like a second.  After English class today, 11 o'clock that is, I went into the library to read up on sociology preparatory for the test Tuesday.  I studied until 3 o'clock and boy those 4 hours went fast.  I got quite a lot done though.  I think I'll go in the library on Saturday more often.  Everything is so quiet because very few people study in there on Sat.

I know you must have even more work than I do though.

I had quite an out-of-the-ordinary time yesterday.  I went in to work at 2 o'clock, thinking of only working until 3.  However, John Slothower was "pulling folders" out of file, you see the second registration, that is the registration for the winter term, begins soon and the files have to be gone over and all the Sept. folders taken over to the Registrars, etc.  Well, John has an assistant whom we all call "Herb".  His last name is Murray and he's about 30 or 31, --- and married.  Well he came in to work soon after I did.  A girl named Frances
