There are books upon the table
And pictures on the wall
And there's a pretty sofa, but the sofa
isn't all
If I am not mistaken
I surely must be right
I see somebody sitting there
This pleasant Sunday Night

They sit so close together
That at first I cannot see
Just how many are sitting there
But I don't think there are three
The clock upon the mantle tick out with
all its might
It'll soon be Monday morning instead of
Sunday night.

The light is growing dimmer
The fire is burning low
Somebody said to somebody else
It's almost time to go
And then I hear a whisper
So gentle and so [[srikethrough]]bright[[/strikethrough]]-light
Don't forget to come again another
Sunday night.

Do you know "The River of the Roses?

Here it is.
