When The Snow Came

One day when I woke up at dawn;
the sky was dull and gray;
the air was cold, upon my lawn
Jack Frost had come to stay.

I soon went out to play, and then,
I saw to my delight;
A flake of snow come tumbling down;
All glistening, sparkling, white!
