night. Wen. March 27, 1935.
I can go back to school now. The cat is well too. I go to school in the afternoon now. I pulled my tooth out this morning. I got some tiny *polywogs Sunday. I found them in a puddle. Some were still hanging to the jelly. The eggs looked like bubbles. Bain has [[chickenpox]] too. Bain came over and had dinner with me. I went over to Bains house with Bain. Bain got his roller skats. I went over to Bains house to eat dinner too. I rode back on the crossbar of Bains bicycle in the rain.

Friday April, 5, 1935.

Evelyn came over to see me a little while ago. A robin built a nest on our piazza. I caught a water strider a little while ago. I dont go to school because everybody has Scarlet Fever. april [[15]], 1935. I went of on a trip this week. I got some polywogs in a pond. There was a big box that had dride up polywogs in it. I got into the box. The box kept the water [[?]]. The water was filled with polywogs and fish. I went to wilmington and charleston. We saw a cotton mouth water mocassin.
