For woman 110 SYSTOLIC, 65 DIASTOLIC. This may vary in healthy individuals as well as during periods of work, fatigue and illness.

ARTERIES AND VEINS OF THE HEAD, FACE AND NECK
The principal sources of blood supply of the head and neck are the two COMMON CAROTID arteries, located on either side of the neck near the "Adam's Apple." Each artery divides into two branches, known as the (1) EXTERNAL CAROTID, and (2) INTERNAL CAROTID.

The internal carotid have many branches and supply the brain, eyes and the cranial cavity.

Each external cartoid artery has nine main branches which divide into many smaller branches and supply the superficial part of the head, face, and portions of the neck. Those arteries with which the beautician is concerned in her practice of facial massage and the parts they supply are as follows:

1. Occipital; supplies the neck and back of head.

2. Posterior Auricular: supplies the back of the ears and scalp.
