I have read the book at Dolores's. It is 1000+ something pages long & very good modern novel! (oh-boy) it cost 40¢! (thought it would cost 30¢) & I got a box of candy (5¢) & Bobby got a box of popcorn (5¢.) Total I spent (from allowance - 60¢) 45¢ - leaving 15¢. Movie lasted (itself) 4 hrs, about 30 min for 2 short ones - newsreel & something about "Modern Cinderella" (cute). The movie was very good. Dolores wanted to see it dreadfully.
