July 24 Friday 1942

Fair. In the morning I washed, bed, German, store, dishes, etc. & in afternoon went to Mabel's where we designed dresses, did housework, read, etc. Then I came home (at 5:00) & hung around reading magazines (of Mrs. Barry's), found a Jergen's hand lotion unopen, have 6 now. Mother forced me to bed at 8:30 tonight!!
