Fair and hot for a change! In the morning to the store + did German and changed rabbits' cages. (I change Snook's every day for he is in an old birdcage.) After lunch Mabel came over + we got started for the pond at 1:00 P.M. + got home at 5:30. (Got there about 1:30) - 3 1/2hrs)
I took Bun Bun (my rabbit I got in Va last June- all brown-white underneath-my one "Snook" from here is more gray + not pure white underneath.) + Mabel put him in a pillowcase (mine) in her basket + [[illegible]] rode him as far as coming-out place at Atherton's farmhouse (near crossing by Lincoln Street) + let him go in a clearing in Atherton's woods - he hopped slowly away - everything was [[crossed-out]]now[[/crossed-out]] new - he had only lived in a small field when very small. I am sorry, but he was better off free. He was never tame, couldn't be [[crossed-out]] toughed [[/crossed-out]] touched + seldom ate in front of you. I put Snooks in his old cage.
