I got a Jergens lotion - 7 now. [[Footnote]] "A good face is the best letter of recommendation"- QUEEN ELIZABETH DESKAIDE * THE SILENT SECRETARY * 1942 OCTOBER 3 THURSDAY Fair. I woke up at 5:00 feeling sickish. I got sicker + sicker + vomited + couldn't walk around so I went to bed all day. I ached all over and couldn't even stand the radio or sleep or eat - ate nothing but water all day. Mother gave me a pill which made my fever go & I was allright the rest of the day beginning at 4:00 PM. Dolores came over. (I think she gave it to me- 3 day grip.)
