OCTOBER | 14 | WEDNESDAY

[[Right margin]] I got 2 more Jergens that [[?]] in Bobby's name she brought them over + I let her have one - [[underline]] 11 [[/underline]] more. I helped her in puzzle contest.

Rainy. I got a ride again to Rosslyn + got to school on 3¢! In school I passed (I think) the Geometry test (easy) + got all but a paragraph or two of the Gym notes. I will probably take the test next week sometime - 5 lectures - I have memorized only 3. We are supposed to learn to write script in German but thank goodness mother taught me. I got to Rosslyn - by going sameway as I go up for 3¢ + got home for 5¢! Thats only 11¢ per day!! - 36¢ more. I had no homework. Only to study gym. So I wrote up my diary (whew) I got a nice 4 page letter from Mabel! & oh boy, 3 Jergens hand lotions, tied together?!? - I wonder if they know I sent for them all, or did it at post office? I have 10 Jergens now - ah. I bought some school paper. I subscribed trans school paper - The Breeze - $1.00 for whole year. It is not printed at the school.
I have 2 more Jergens to come!
