went visiting. And so he wanted to see some of the oldest friends, some old ones. So I went-- taken him around there to see Miss Carol[[strikethrough]]ee[[/strikethrough]] [[strikethrough]] Offen [[/strikethrough]] Lofton. And her sister-in-law, Miss Rebecca, she said to me, "Minnie," she said, "I've got something for you." She said, "Nick tried to make me throw this old cardboard away. And I said no I'm going to take it to Minnie He said, 'Well, what you think she want with that trash?'" Well, now, the board-- You didn't see it, but she did. Where I've got-- this-- It's about this think--like that--and I got a picture drawed [[strikethrough]] on [[/strikethrough]] in it and its got a heavy piece of cardboard to the back of it and I think Madam must be--have had some pictures of something of its kind in there and they threw that out and she saved it for me and I was so very very glad to get it. But now that was on Thursday, Thursday afternoon. When I up there to Miss Tula, she told me this: she say, "You have got three pictures to make, but you got a special one to draw." She say, "Until you draw that picture, the invasion of Europe is not going to happen." It sounded so funny to me, until I didn't give it any more thought. Friday-- Well, after David got up and went out with his father, went to work, and I started to cleaning up, well, I got all mixed up. I was often doing that. Wash part of the dishes, leave half. Go sweep half of the kitchen, leave half of that. Or I would go make up one bed and leave the other. Just mix up like that all day. That's the way I would be.
