M.E. My dreams?

C.W. Yes, just tell me one of your dreams, all of us.

M.E. Now here about three weeks ago, about a month ago, before I left home I see what I dream. I had a dream that I was in a parade. It was a kind of circus parade here on 5th Avenue. I was wrapped all up with it. (C.W. Oooh!) And then the man that was, that had the chariot, I didn't see the horse. He had two lions. One lion on one side and one on the other and he had those lions, and the music. I don't know where the music was but I heard the music just playing. He said, 'Don't be afraid of the lions because they know you. We are going right down 5th Avenue.' Then right in the middle of the street was a big stream of water. I know about half as wide as this room. It was very deep and I rode right down into that side into that water up to here. Then there was some great big long white fish. (C.W. Oooh!) They were about that long with the big wide head (C.W. You are describing them as being about two or three feet long) in that water and I tried to catch the fish but I caught one on the head and I couldn't - they were real white. (C.W. Did they glow? Did they sort of glow? That's right.

C.W. Do you paint everyday?

M.E. No, not now. I haven't painted now ever since I was sick in November. I had been to the hospital and all of that had kinda left me. But I think I'm to start back to painting again. I think that's going to come back to me but it all had left me.

C.W. Now when you did paint, did you use to paint regularly? Even when you were a housemaid did you use to paint regularly?

M.E. Yes

C.W. You still had to go to work didn't you?

M.E. Yes, I had to go to work.

C.W. Then you must have painted when you came home in the evening?

M.E. In the afternoon.
