Minnie Evans

she said when she come back to herself she come to the back door and quick and look and, the sun was way over there and she hadn't washed a dish, hadn't swept the floor, hadn't made up her bed and nothing and she say she wish there had been somebody up there and see. Look like every crow that was round here was there. The house, the top of it was covered with crows and all the trees round there was covered with crows.

N.H.S. When was that? When was that? Was that after she was married?

Mrs. Kelly: No, no. She was living down in the park then.

N.H.S. Oh yes.

Mrs. Kelly: and I was living up there across the road. Yes she said them things was there and she said when she come to herself and walked out to look and then she heard the crows and went to talking with them. They turned her head looking down at her and then directly they all went to flying off. She said it was full. She said I wished someone else was here to see these things. All on top of her house, on top of the porch, sitting on the trees along was nothing but crows. Now I don't know what all she can tell you but I don't know what all that the Lord told her she had to do.

N.H.S. When were you born?

Mrs. Kelly: Mam?

N.H.S. When were you born?

Mrs. Kelly: Where was I born?

N.H.S. When?

Mrs. Kelly: I don't know how many years it's been.

N.H.S. You don't know what year you were born?

Mrs. Kelly: I was born up in Long Creek.
