6. WHAT EXPLORATIONS (1) BY THE MUSEUM AND (2) UNDER OTHER AUSPICES, HAVE RESULTED IN ENRICHING THE COLLECTIONS UNDER YOU CARE?

Nothing has been received from explorations for which the Museum was directly responsible, if indeed there have been any. The following persons have been engaged in making collections with a view of working out the fauna of their respective localities and submitting all puzzling or doubtful forms to the Department for examination have in most cases donated types of new or interesting material to the National Collection.
