3. - The selection of material to be sent ot specialists for study and determination. The Coleoptera of the tribes Blapstini, Eurymetopon and Eumenathus were sent to Capt. T. L. Casey, New York, who is working upon these groups.
4. - The work of arranging in permanent shape all the collections:
The rearrangement of the N. A. Coleoptera, mentioned in the last annual report as having been commenced, has been completed. The Systematic series occupied 323 boxes and contained 5900 properly identified species and 440 undetermined and undescribed species.
