tion of Economic Entomologists and various minor additions have been made either through exchange or through the Department of Agriculture without accession numbers. A full series of named Heteroptera has been prepared from the duplicate collection by request of Prof. A. J. Cook of the Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station and donated thereto.
The arrangement of the gall flies (Cynipidae) which has been going on for some months in connection with the work at the Department of Agriculture was completed and a careful paper has been prepared by Wm. H. Ashmead on the same.
