REPORT OF DEPARTMENT OF INSECTS FOR MARCH, 1891.

The following accessions were received during the month:

✓ 24082 20 species of Arachnida new to collection, from Mr. Nathan Banks, Dept. of Agriculture.

✓ 24097 15 named species of Hemiptera from Old World, from Prof. A. L. Montandon, Bucarest, Roumania. (Exch.)

✓ 24008 Collection of African insects from Dr. W. L. Abbott, 1926 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, Pa. These were collected near Kilimanjaro, on the Seychelles Islands and on Madagascar and make the most important accession of the month, containing 10 specimens of Lepidoptera - 6 specimens of Neuroptera - 10 species
