Johnson, and call a board of survey on the old boat to meet Friday. Then dress and go up to Capt. Noyes to dine and then to the Agassiz lecture with Miss & Capt. N. The lecture is a success & after seeing them home I go aboard.
Thursday Sept. 26
Morning down to [[strikethrough]] bank [[/strikethrough]] office with charts early, no letters Then to bank and draw on Hein for $11,000.00. draw 4000. in gold. Go down to vessel with Capt. Hall and pay off all hands. Then up town & pay off Mr. Hodgkins. Then to dinner with Harrington & then to Alaska Herald office get a file, and then up to see old Honcharenko and down to vessel calling for trunk which is not ready. Evening work over accounts & board of survey letter.
