After an interview with Mr. Blackman, the writer of the enclosed application, and with Mr. McPherson, the Treasurer Elect of the contemplated R.R. it was ascertained that the Bill passed by the State Legislature, was vetoed by the Governor, + project indefinitely postponed - if not entirely abandoned.
