by Mr. Beckley, then a clerk at the employment office 7" & O Sts, is intended for Miss, not Mass. - as 2 weeks time was spent in getting the party together, and as I read the contract to the party before they signed it; and witnessed each signature: I am certain that each and every person knew that they were going to Providence. Miss. & Yazo. River. - and that it was understood by all that there was to be a division of the party when they arrived at Providence Landing Miss.
