Endorsement Back

Annapolis Md. Sept. 4th 1867.
Respy returned to Lt. W. W. Rogers A.A.A. Genl. I have for a long time been unable to find any person of the name of Catherine Griffin and can only learn of a woman of that name who is entirely incompetent to assume charge of these people. I have not yet been able to find her, but the reports I have recd. lead me to recommend that the transportation be withheld.
