Mrs. Griffing, as well as by every Agent of the Bureau; as it is not only plainly laid down in the published regulations, but has been reiterated to herself on the presentation of similar accounts heretofore; that there is no authority for any Agent except the regular Disbursing Officer to make any purchases whatever or incur any expense on behalf of this Bureau; and the Disbursing Officer makes no payment except upon direct order of the Ass't Com.

Respy returned Miss Susan Walker lives in the building where the industrial school is located and has use for additional fuel only to cook with and to warm the rooms occupied by her personally, there is but one fire in the school room, and it's presumed that the supply (1500) is ample for the purpose, for which it is intended.
