The request of M.V. Wright, Emp. Agt. for transportation for John Bell, 6 adults and one child, was handed me & I applied for the same.
On receiving transportation I had only time to reach the Depot (where the party was waiting) before the trains started.
I found there, John Bell, five adults and two children ready to take the cars. The Bell was ringing and I hurried up. Endorsing the transportation with the purpose of making it read John Bell five (5) adults and 2 children instead of Six (6) adults & one child.
I had no time to examine or compare the different orders which I witnessed.
I hereby certify on honor, that of the party named in the transportation No. 11.226, and other transportation witnessed by me of the date of Feby 27 1867, these were only John Bell, five adults & 1 children who went on said order, or orders.
