Respy returned to the
Ass't Comr.
Upon investigation of this case I found that Henry Hawkins (son of Robert Hawkins) is as in the absence of his father bound to Mrs. A.M. Turner by the Orphans Court of St Mary's Co, on the 12th day of June 1866. Mrs. Turner lives with Mr. Hodges, but was not at home when I was there. Mr. H. stated that Mrs. Turner would let the boy go with his father if he wished to.
I saw the boy who told me he did not want to go with his father, but wished to remain with Mrs. Turner.
