States that rooms lately occupied by Mr. Steward of the orphans Home, has been vacated by him, and a Watchman of Qr Mr.  Dept has moved with his family &c & as far as he knows without authority. That the rooms could be rented to good advantage to one or two colored families
Awaits instructions on the matter.

And that 20 more rooms will soon be fitted up at Kendall Green Barracks.
