States in answer to Communication asking information about unemployed freedmen in Staunton Va that a considerable number of freedmen may be found at Staunton who have no permanent business (perhaps fifty) There are also some Orphan Children and many more but little better off than Orphans. 
By sending away a small number would be a great benefit.
