Asks assistance from the Bureau for a colored woman living in Capitol Hill Washington DC as she is both destitute and deserving being in very delicate health, and has a family of five children to support.

No 929. | Dept of Metropolitan Police Washington June 18 1867  Reports that there are in the locality know as "Fredericksburg." in this City four houses occupied by poor colored women who are physically unable to whitewash their houses, nor have the means of employing others to do it. 
There is also a School house & Meeting house which no one attends to.  Suggests that two or three laborers be sent by the Freedmens Bureau to whitewash the buildings mentions.

States that she has not heard from Washington, since Capt Beebe left. and people are anxious for the servants they have ordered. Needs about sixty girls between the ages of 17 and 40 also about a dozen men who are accustomed to farming.
