States that Farmer (not Rosa Miller left her home in June 1862. leaving two children, one died in a few months after she left. and the other Hannah, is still living with him, and has been treated as though she were his own offspring. That if he were to have the services of this child until she was of lawful age (and educate her) it would be no more than a fair compensation for his expenses & trouble. That the mother is not is not capable of taking care of the child. |
