Directs thru the Ass't Com'r that Major Vandenburgh. confer with the city authority with the view of making the necessary arrangements with them, for the burial of deceased freed people in this city whose friends or relatives are not able to furnish the means to bury them.

States that her father and mother are dead and that she has been living with her step father - that on Tuesday last his wife turned her out - that she has been cruelly treated by both, and wants to be sent to home in the North.

States that the colored people on the "Island" have purchased a building on "F" bet 3" & 4 1/2 Sts. in which they are holding nightly from 9.30 until after 11 o,clock what they term a fair - they have loud boisterous singing, perfectly audible two blocks off. that this is injurious to his property in the neighborhood his tenants complaining that they cannot get rest on account of the noise.

Asks the attention of the Ass't Con't to this matter.
