Dec 20”1867 O.L.S.D.C. Rec & Filed |Palmer Lettie (colored) No 1319 | Washington D.C. Aug 28th 1867. States that her husband Shadrack Palmer died some eight years ago leaving in the hands of Mr W. H. Gaines. Warrenton Va five hundred dollars, directing that the interests of this sum should go to her support, and the principle be divided among her children at her death. – that Mr Gaines has failed to pay interest on three hundred Dollars of this money, saying he has loaned is to Mr Gaskins who is unable to pay it. Asks that the Bureau investigate the matter.

O.L.S.D.C. ’67 No 1321. | Alexandria Va Dec 17”1867 States that he bought a house from Henry Schneitzer which was on the land of Samuel Baggett at Convalescent Camp, Alexandria Co Va that Mrs Baggett ejected him and took down the house. He desires the Bureau to compel Schneitzer (who lives at T(?)town[[?]] D.C.) & to whom he paid $15 for the house to refund the money.

Dec 23d 1867 Asks the assistance of the Bureau, in obtaining her child (Laura Davis aged 10 yrs) who was left with her former master Henry G Davis at Peidmont W Va & who is now living at Deer park Hampshire Co W. Va. States that he refuses to give her up & threatens her with trouble, if she seeks the assistance of the Bureau.
